Preparation

Uninstall previous UNLOCKER

  1. Download Unlocker 3.0.3 (github)
  1. Run win-uninstall.cmd as Admin

UNINSTAL previous VMware

  1. Uninstal through Control Panel
  1. Then use this script (github)

Uninstal

Creating clean ISO file (reddit)

  1. On your existing Mac system, download Mojave from the App Store.
    • How to:
      1. Open App Store
      1. Search for "Big Sur"
      1. Click "Get"
      1. After Download is finished Right-click and "Quit" the installer from the Dock
      1. Now you should have Big Sur installer in your Application folder
  1. Create temporary .DMG file
    hdiutil create -o /tmp/BigSur -size 13000m -layout SPUD -fs HFS+J
  1. Mount it
    hdiutil attach /tmp/BigSur.dmg -noverify -mountpoint /Volumes/install_build
  1. Go to Desktop and rename the mounted drive from "untitled" to e.g.: "BigSur"
  1. Drop the installer into .dmg
    sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/BigSur

  1. Eject the mounted drive. Simply Drag the drive from the Desktop to the Bin.
  1. Convert .dmg to .iso
    hdiutil convert /tmp/BigSur.dmg -format UDTO -o ~/Desktop/BigSur
  1. Rename .cdr to .iso
